Zuleika Mooney is the Director of QA & Food Safety for Decas Cranberry Products, Inc. a leading processor of sweetened dried cranberries, cranberry juices and fresh cranberries located in Carver, MA. Decas are BRC certified and run a 24/7 operation with 110 employees. With over 20 years’ experience in food and beverage, Zuleika manages policies and programs as they relate to food safety, quality assurance and food defense. She is responsible for maintaining compliance with federal, state and HACCP regulations and has supervision and for on-going employee training activities to keep employees up to date on OSHA, SOPs, and current Good Manufacturing Procedures.
Nick Staab
Director Of Engineering @E.A. Sween
Nick Staab is the Director of Engineering at E.A. Sween located in Eden Prairie, MN. Producing over 70 million sandwiches per year, EA Sween’s Deli Express brand is the #1 in the category. Nick has been instrumental in E.A. Sween’s transition from paper to digital to manage productivity improvements and food safety across their two facilities which are both USDA and SQF Level 3 certified. He works closely with operations , QA and maintenance to develop the skills of the workforce and leverages his Lean Manufacturing experience toward continuously improving processes to reduce bottom-line costs. Prior to E.A. Sween, Nick spent more than 11 years at General Mills holding engineering and maintenance management positions.
